stayed 2nights 15th &16th May2013, very clean ,good breakfast ,very kind and pleasant staff.we went to york by train so we did not use the parking facilities this time but there is adequate parking.i am 73 years old and the staff were excellent,did not use the swimming pool or the fitness centre this time may be next time.

Great location for visiting York city centre / visitor attractions etc.. Rooms are reasonable , equipped with essentials, free wifi, clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good value with a wide range of food to chose from. Limited parking is a down side.. Would stay here again

The hotel is perfectly placed for an introduction to this fab city, arriving by train. Everything within walking distance & a fab base! Comfortable rooms, but rather dated bathrooms, were eclipsed by the excellent "can-do" service & the high quality, good value food & drink. Would definitely return.

Myself & 5 friends went here for Bank holiday weekend. It was such a convenient hotel for visiting the beautiful city of York. Excellent service, and helpful staff. Rooms ok bathrooms a bit dated. Food very good value.

Very tight for car parking, very central location, out the front door and right in the centre 2 mins from the Minster. Facilities good, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good and usual full range. Would go back next time I'mYork
