The hotel is a lovely old building. The staff were extremely friendly. The room was good and well equiped. The only minor issue was that being an old building there is little sound insulation between the rooms. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Stayed one night with my wife and 7mnth old. Despite contacting hotel twice prior to visit and on arrival there was not cot in the room. Room was ok, recently decorated but not spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but breakfast could have been bigger. Overall not bad for the price but have been to better.

Just far enough out of the city to have lower prices and near enough for easy access. Walkable for the reasonably fit. Atttractive hotel offering good, friendly service service and good food. The bedroom was comfortable. Interesting selection of John Barry memorabilia on the stairs.
