This small, family run hotel was excellent. Very friendly service, absolutely immaculate room. Lots a free parking. Paid £218 for 2 nights in a 'Superior room'. We thought we were going to stay in the Hotel but we were put in the annexe that is next door but one. We were in the annexe, and I would have preferred the main hotel, as it was a pain to go outside to main hotel for breakfast. My husband and I stayed here Tuesday/Wednesday 4/5 July 2006 and definitely won't be going back and putting any more money into this family-run hotel - it's a total rip-off at £92 per night. We requested a non-smoking room and were advised that the Georgian Annex (two doors down from the hotel) was totally non-smoking and therefore would be suitable.... more
