We had a great stay at the Linden Lodge - everyone was very friendly and the rooms were great - comfortable beds, good size, and very clean. It's a quick walk into town and close to the station. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to York.

The hotel cannot be faulted for location. But did feel the hotel was a high price but guess this is around standard rates for York. Room was adequate for our needs. We visited York for the Viking Festival, and stayed at Linden Lodge for 4 nights, in a twin room on the second floor. The room and bathroom were not large, but quite sufficient for our needs.
