My mother and I had a mid-week break during April. Lovely twin room, fantastic location in the centre of York. The hotel is an ideal base for shoppers and sightseers. Warm and friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. Returning later this year.

Lovely city centre location , the room we had was very small no where to sit other than the bed , that was not really a problem for us we were only there to sleep our room looked onto the cathedral which was lovely . Breakfast was delicous piping hot and good quality , would defiantly stay here again

Had a brilliant weekend, the weather was freezing but the welcome was very warm. This Hotel is perfect for a city centre break, it's clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the dinner menu was great. Would go back anytime and probably will.

Had a fantastic two night stay in a great location. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and evening meal with a good selection of vegetables. We stayed in Room 7 and would recommend this room overlooking the Minster with a very comfortable bed.
