This place is in an excellent location in the York city walls, only a short walk to town. The rooms are good and the facilities will be even better when the renovations are completed shortly. The staff were very helpful with our needs and made or stay much better. more

This hotel was dirty and I would suggest that you do not consider it. The smoke alarm in my room had NO BATTERY in it, the fire extinguishers were out of date for service and partially discharged. the hotel is ideally situated. Rooms are tired and outdated and need a good clean, the bathroom digusting, mouldly tiles and toilet seat broken, the pipes made horrendous noise and at 6.00 am is not welcome. There service at breakfast should have been alot better. I wouldnt reccomend this to anyone. more
