Excellent location - only a short walk to city centre, very helpful and informative owners. Large room, excellent shower facilities. Brilliant breakfast. Tea and coffee in your room and tv, better than average guest house. Can not fault this little gem. Will return next time we are visiting York, No expensive car parking charges either.

I used Burton Villa whilst on business. Far better value than many 3 or 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Big room and bathroom, very comfy and nice little touches. Run by warm and friendly people. Great breakfast too.

A great welcome,charming hosts - even though we arrived too early we were made welcome, helped to park the car and our bag taken up to the room. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very bright and cheerful with a full bathroom. Plenty of hot water too which is always a bonus. A nice touch with the complimentary toiletries.... More
