This is the third time have stayed here and it gets better each time. Linda & Dave and staff are really lovely people and are very 'hands on' which is nice. Stayed here with my wife daughter and grandaughter for a week. Linda and Dave are the perfect hosts nothing is to much trouble for them,they sit you down on arrival and give you very good info.regarding where to go and what to do and what not to do. Overall a very god package. The warmth of welcome from Linda and Dave was wonderful. The room was spotless and equipped with all the facilities you would expect of a good guesthouse. This break in York was my girlfriends birthday present from me so I really wanted it to be special. The guest house was surely very good. The room was very clean as was the rest of the guest house. We have just returned from a weekend in York. The guest house is very near the city centre and the Minster. The private car park is a great help as it saves having to leave the car parked on the street. Our room was spotless. Compliemtary toiletries are supplied. The thick towels are changed daily.
