Very welcoming, spacious rooms, friendly and efficient service on arrival, departure and breakfast. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, great breakfast, reasonable prices, knowledgable staff/owners. Car parking available, but a tight squeeze to get an average sized car in when its busy. Great location for just a 10 minute walk to city centre. Wouldnt hesitate to stay there again. more

I was given clear, helpful instructions ref parking, door code etc. Room was decent size twin for both of us, and a good modern shower room. Lovely breakfasts, and helful advice about taxis, buses and restaurants, plus have lots of guide books. Very reasonable price for York on a race weekend as well. Car park needs slow and careful manoeuvering. more

Arrived at 4pm Friday and was routed to the back of hotel for parking, the entrance to the rear is very tight as was the parking space. My husband and myself stayed here from Friday 17th to the 19th and had a lovely time. We also had friends staying too and they also loved this very warm and friendly hotel Jenny+Richard are so nice and helpfull and The Warrens is very clean+cosy and the breakfast was delicious and well worth getting up for plenty of tea,coffee,eggs+toast etc..... more

Stayed here for a weekend break in March and loved the the place! Got a very warm welcome from Jenny who was extremely helpful in recommending places to go and went out of her way to print off discount vouchers for us. Room was large, clean and very comfortable.
