This hotel is dated, needs a lick of paint to freshen it up, it smelt damp and fusty and the rooms were unclean. Definately not worth the money and the service was rubbish. Very disapointed and wont be staying there again.

Late checking time Poor welcome, critised us for not ringing the bell loud enough room not ready carpets all the way up were really really grubby bedroom spacious, but grubby holes in sheets cushions on bed disgusting only 3 cups and there were 4 of us Never Again...

Loved staying at this B&B, the owners were helpful and were interested in showing the best of York to us! Very well located, and though we had a car, it was not needed to get around the town. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, a great place to stay!

Stayed here for girls nightout, £85 for twin room that was tiny corridor with bed under window, wardrobe was 2 coat hangers on hook over Bathroom door. No soap or glasses in said bathroom, toilet seat fell off. Carpet on stairs had not been hoovered in months as one of the girls stamped on it the dust was flying up.... More
