This was a wonderful stop in B&B row just outside the walls of the old City of York. Five-minute walk to walls of the old city. My husband and I arrived at Abbeyfields after 26 hours of travel to find a wonderful, clean, and comfortable room. We only stayed here two nights, but we were made very welcome. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts were cooked fresh for each guest as per our order placed the previous night. Les was very helpful with information about York without being intrusive of our holiday and we enjoyed our stay here more
