We traveled down a party of 6 (3 couples) for the York Races. We chose the premier Inn as it was cheap and that is all we wanted. However upon arrival myself was paying with cash where I was informed about a policy where you have to have Photo ID, i was in shock as this is a policy ive... more

Great value base for families, especially with children. Great breakfasts and free for under 15s is especially good. Situated 2 miles outside York on a business park - but it is ideally close to the Park and Ride, and there is plenty of choice for eating - Fish and Chip Restaurant next door is excellent, Beefeater is nice but pricey,... more

We stayed here for just one night. We found the room basic but clean. It's just what we needed on this occaision. 1 double bed with a pull out sofabed thing. The beds were comfy but the pillows were too soft for me. The only downside was that our room was located next to a fire door on the corridor.... more
