Really enjoyable stay. The room was small ,basic and clean. Evening meal was delicious- Italian for the wife, chicken for me. Great nights sleep(up at 9) and waited until 10 for the cooked breakfast. This was the BEST ENGLISH BREAKFAST we have ever had, and we have had a few. We will be returning with friends very soon. more

The hotel is perfect and excellent value for money. The staff were exceptionally helpful perfect for one nights stay. You pay £70 for a travelodge and this is by far a better option. The restaurant was brilliant. more

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby. On first impressions from the website it seemed "ok" enough for a 1 night stay. Do not stay here, the website is not a true reflection of the hotel, in fact it isnt a hotel it is an old disused train and the cabins have been converted in bedrooms - if you like railways this may be ideal as the main London to Edinburgh line runs every 4 mins along the back of the bedrooms!!!!!!! more
