The service was excellent, and was very friendly. Our room was very attractive, had everything we needed, and was absolutely spotless. The location, although within easy reach of the amenities in the centre of York, was very restful and quiet, especially at night. A superb aii-round B&B! more

Bowmans is on a quiet residential street away from the hustle and bustle of the city of York. It is a leisurely stroll away from all the many things to do. Warm welcome, beautifully decorated rooms,really comfy bed and pillows,spotlessly clean, attention to detail throughout the whole establishment, special touches of luxury in your room(green and blacks chocolate), fabulous breakfast, efficient service, ten minutes walk into city centre. Cannot fault anything more
