This B & B was in the quaint, off-the-beaten track village of Simonburn. An attraction there is a large, ancient church. The owners were lovely, very hospitable. We were traveling with a one-year-old, and had a large, beautiful and recently remodeled room with plenty of space for the three of us. There are ducks, a rabbit, a lovely Highland terrier, and doves on the property which children enjoy. Breakfast was very nice, and in addition to the B & B there is also a quaint gift shop with locally made items, a "general store," and tea-room open during the day. Lovely place to stay! more
