We really enjoyed our stay here, it took a while to get there, but it was worth it in the end. We stayed here for 1 night on a cycle trip from bowness on solway to south shields doing the coast to coast. Very airy large family room, comfy beds and fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately this B&B did not meet our expectations. The room was large, but it was right above the kitchen and VERY noisy. We heard every conversation below us, and after the tea room guests left we could hear the noisy fridge all night long! Add to that the noise from the room next door - we had a terrible night's... Ann was fantastic. The property is beautiful. Simonburn is perfect for some rest and relaxation. Lovely countryside. Short drive to Hexham. Dexter is adorable.
