The converted church is split into 2 properties and we stayed in "Lonnenend". Having a triple aspect, light pours in through any number of the original church windows throughout the day in the main open plan living space. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and the bedrooms well furnished and cosy.
From the sun terrace you can watch the sun go down across the beautiful Northumberland countryside, The rest of the garden is an amazing collection of plants, shrubs, small ponds and lawns, lovely to walk in or let the kids explore. The owners are lovely and friendly without being intrusive. I find this place so relaxing and there are many options for eating out and walking (Hadrians wall 5 mins away) nearby. A lovely retreat. more
