We found all aspects of our stay excellent. The room was very well furnished. The water was always piping hot. The service from all of the staff was very friendly and acommodating. We shared a family room with our 2 daughters (5 & 7) and they have told everyone about the curtained bunk bed! The hotel was comfortable and welcoming; the staff helpful and the food as wonderful as reported. The atmosphere in the bar was very relaxed an lots of useful information on hand. more

Difficult to find, but the Inn itself is charming. The owners are very kind and helpful, the food and restaurant are great and it is very near all the best sites along Hadrian's Wall. more
