We had Sunday lunch here on our way to stay at the lodges at Slaley Hall. The pub looked inviting from outside, however we were disappointed with the roast. Six of us ate here twice while staying at Slaley Hall. The first night was Steak Night. A good deal, though two of the three who chose the steak felt it was over cooked.
