I have stayed here a number of times now, I find the staff very friendly and helpfull the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. sure if you look, there are marks on the carpet and maybe a gap in the silicone around the bath but this is a well used centrally located hotel, only five minutes from The... Good location. Good cooked breakfast apart from the snotty eggs and having to guess what was available. Dirty. Poor service, said that bottled drinks available at reception, they weren't. Room absolutely freezing cold, no extra blankets, and it smelled of the toilet. Shower gel bottle empty. Somebody else's hair on the bathroom tiles in the shower. Cutlery in restaurant not... More

City centre hotel, very handy for my office. Not blisteringly hot [which suits me], comfortable with a decent sized room, easy to use TV and bathroom including a bath. Has seen better days but absolutely fine. Breakfast was HUGE, eggs x 2, sausage x 2, bacon x 2, load of mushrooms, tomatoes, beans. More

well, i had great expectations for a room costing £70 per night. however, there were two or three things that aggrovated me. firstly, the parking is farmed off to the NCP next door. so, if you arrive before 17:00 or stay after 09:00, you are charged their extortionate rate. overnight parking is £6, with the hotel discount. however, you need... I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a work trip. The hotel itself is not awful but could be a lot better. In it's heyday (maybe the 80's or 90's?) I am sure it was the dogs .... but now it feels dated and tired. The hotel is let down in the details. The staff are... More

Nothing particularly special but decent sized room with plenty of TV channels (for a change). Lack of wi-fi. Worth staying in to see the throngs of emos waiting by the stage doors of Rock City. More

Many of the rooms overlook a very noisy club and the soundproofing is rubbish - and we stayed on a Tuesday night! When we asked about moving rooms the staff suggested that we plug our ears, with toilet paper! The bathroom wasnt particularly clean either. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me. More

Nice staff don't make up for a thoroughly old and tired hotel. Shabby lifts, poor carpets, old fashioned rooms that you need to turn a key to lock on departure, a trouser press that didn't work, toilet paper that was more like sandpaper, twin beds that were rock hard. Good TV though. Poor lighting in room makes it hard to... More

Stayed here for the night after dropping my son at Nottingham Trent university - the location is ideal for this. The room was a good size and clean and I was very pleased to find a hairdryer as I had forgotten mine. The only problem was the loud music coming from a nearby nightclub which went on until 3am, but... More
