Lovely stay for 1 night. Brilliant room away from the main house so our dog would not bother other guests, which made us feel very relaxed, extreemly comfortable and well thought out accomadation .Staff all very helpful and friendly. Lovely dinner, very interesting menu! Great breakfast as well. Will return if down that way again.

Beautiful location, very quite. Our room was absolutly fantastic, clean, big and had all the mod-cons. The bathroom was mind blowing. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, first class food and service.

Disappointing does not describe our experience.The dining room was cold! Debris on the floor e.g.dirty fork under our table and we were the first people to use that table. Quality of meal was very disappointing.Needless to say we will not be returning.

We attended the Cockliffe for a relatives birthday meal. We were greeted by the friendly welcoming staff. The hotel was lovely very inviting. Our meal was absolutely gorgeous the food was delicious. I would recommend this place for a special occasion as the setting, the food and staff made it an enjoyable evening.

We stayed here for 1 night in Room 2- a beautiful authentically decorated country room. We had service with a smile from start to finish, and were very satisfied with the way we were looked after- nothing was too much bother. We also had a lovely, if a little pricey for what it was, meal and a very peaceful sleep.
