The mate who booked this place for our weekend break really excelled himself with this one. On arrival we were made to feel at home by the excellent attentive staff, nothing was to much trouble for them and they could not be more helpful. Bed linen was spotless and nice and crisp, towel's are thick and soft, more than you would... More

What an amazing place nestled just outside the city centre. The hotels entertainment was perfect if you like UB40 or Bob Marley at 7 in the morning. The bar staff were brilliant and I must recommend the House Bricadi to anybody. The locals were all very friendly and went out of there way to come say hello. I was only... More

This was a basic hotel. To be fair it did what it is meant to cater too. Provide basic accommodation for large groups on a stag or hen party. A plus point was the cheap drink prices. I don't think I have ever paid less for a Jack and coke (£2). Although, it was not Coca Cola or Pepsi but... More

Take a step back in time and stay in this hotel. If you were brought up in East Germany in the 1970's this is the place for you. The showers are an amazing embrace of 1970's interior design with authentic 40 year old black mould . The beds are awesome if you have a bad back very, very firm and... More

We had a city break over the weekend and I must say the hotel was the Big Dog of stays. Really good value and I can't understand the negative views that are in here, the staff are very pollite and friendly and the breakfast was beautifull my only complaint was that the jacuzzi was a little to warm

Even the teabags were dusty, and the carpet was not clean. The beds were clean though. No mirrors in rooms, but the staff soon gave you ones when you asked. Not bad for a cheap hotel for a night out in Nottingham.

I was booked into this hotel by a friend who was organising a stag do. Safe to say i wasnt really looking forward to it as i came straight on here to read up on it. I have stayed in a similar place in the lakes which really put me off so I decided to 'provisionally book' another hotel room... More

We had to make a very last minute booking and Clarence Hotel was one of the cheapest with the best location. The rooms are not too clean and the facilities are old. But the towels and bed sheets are very clean and we had free Internet access, also a simple breakfast with no extra charge.
