Noisy road, awful decor, food OK,cost too much more

Although the staff here are lovely, the hotel is very very tired and scruffy. As they have recently put up their price to £60 for a double room b&b they should be giving the guest the equivalent facilities and standard of comfort and cleanliness. more

If you want a 4/5 Star Hotel (and want to pay for parking), then don't stay here! But if you are OK with a friendly / helpful staff in a couple of Victirian houses converted into a Hotel, at a cheap rate, good food, then this is the place. Very close to Beeston Business Park, local bars and restaurants. One... more

As I said, a great little hotel and super food. I liked the casual family atmosphere. Good value for money. more

What can I say? Its straight out of the 1970s! The restaurant serves very cheap food, but you get what you pay for - packet soup, orange juice as a starter, overcooked veg etc. The overall decor is very outdated and tired - includes plastic ivy stuck to the ceiling in the public bar area. Would not recommend this place... more

Good location if visiting a student at the University of Nottingham but everything done cheaply at less-than-cheap rates. Anemic showerhead, cranky toilet. Attic leftover furniture and rock solid mattresses and pillows. Fairly noisy location (road noise.) more
