The house was great for our purpose although the furniture in the largest of the sitting rooms was very tired and needed upgrading.
Facilities in the kitchen were very good as was the seating.
Seating for 20 in the garden but only two very small- 3ft diameter tables- so not suitable for eating outside.
Some bedroom curtains had shrunk so did not meet - also material rather thin so let in light after dawn.
Downstairs toilet door did not lock!
Inspection beforehand not possible, in fact actively discouraged rudely by owner.
Entry before 5pm not allowed even for 2 little girls (4 and 2yrs) at 4.30 who had travelled down from Scotland and were sent up the road to the coffee bar in the Antique centre, the entrance to the drive on their return blocked off by a wheel barrow. This left rather a bad taste at the start of the weekend. more
