On arrival we were made to feel really welcome by Phil and Margret Drake. We stayed in the annex just away from the main inn which has four rooms. The room was very well appointed with a full size bath although there wasn't a proper shower just a shower head attached to the mixer taps. Breakfast was a well layed out spread with fresh fruit on the buffet including blue berries and raspberries. The English breakfast had good quality ingredients and well presented, not the usual breakfast banger in grease. Crystal glasses and jugs for the juice with crisp linen cloths. Although the Swan Inn does not do evening meals the local pub the Crown Inn, which was only a short walk away, did excellent ones and we went back to sample more from the menu and the real ale. Enstone is well placed to tour the local district and we made use of this by visiting Oxford and Blenhiem Palace. The sitting room was a large room which has a log fire for the colder months.
