Crown and Cushion is a charming old coaching inn right on the main street in Chipping Norton. We had a nice big room in the coach house in back of the hotel. Fun pub inside with really friendly staff. Breakfast was good each day and dinner was fine as well. We would definitely stay here again. more

The best thing about this hotel is its location on the high street in lovely Chipping Norton. Enjoyed 3 days here over an August weekend. Customer service excellent the staff were very friendly and helpful. A pleasant bar downstairs with reasonable drinks prices and although our room as above the Bar it was quiet enough to sleep. Some of the rooms aren't as good as the pictures on the website but unless you prefer a travelodge box... more

I think this hotel suffers from three things. 1 No apparent hands on management . 2. It's as if it was designed/organised by 10 different people - 8 of whom have no taste - and they all put in their favourite things resulting in a weird jumble of pictures/wallpaper/carpeting/furniture.
