We stayed at Azelea house in September and had a beautiful double room with a private bath. The rooms are lovely, large comfy bed, nice furnishings and lots of space. The Bathroom was new, spotless and had lots of "little extras" for our use. The house is surrounded by glorious gardens and is about a 5 minute walk to town... more

Logged onto the website which said they had a vacancy. Emailed and received no reply. Chased with a phone call and was laughingly told they didn't have a vacancy. Relieved to be honest, because it looks poky from the website. Unfortuantely, we needed somewhere to stay in the area. Book early for Henley so you don't have to bother trying... more

£60 for a boxroom with use of shared bathroom and on-street parking in a suburban backwater is extortionate, particularly as the original price quoted was understood to be £50 and the rooms are advertised as £40 per night. more

Azalea House was very nice. Short walk onto High Street. The walk on the river is beautiful and the weather cooperated. The numbering on the left and right sides of the street seemed to be out of synch, but there is a nice sign called 'Azalea House' - we just missed it, our fault. We also missed the turn into... more

My trip was essentially a business one but being from South Africa I thought I would combine it with a bit of leisure time as Henley on Thames is a beautiful part of the UK. Azalea House was recommended to me and I would certainly recommend it to others. The hosts were wonderful - friendly, eager to please and breakfast... more

Four years ago I was trying to find a nice place, not too expensive for a trip to a Doll – fair in Henley… good friends told me to look for a B&B place… And it is unbelievable that I did find a place where the owners are really friendly people and everything is so nice, really clean and tidy.... more

looking for B&B's in the Henley area has always been difficult. Most are pretty expensive (as are the hotels) and when you're looking to stay regularly on business it's tricky. I found this place by chance. Really friendly people and everything was really clean and tidy. I was able to keep to myself and each morning enjoyed a great breakfast.... more

We couldn't envision a vist to Henley-on-Themes without staying at the Azalea House. We have been back twice in the past 14 months since our initial visit a couple of years ago. Pat and Peter are superb hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The setting is just what we were looking for - not on a main drag, beautifully... more

We have just returned to Ireland after a travelling holiday in England, having stayed in Azalea House, Henley on Thames B&B for 3 days as part of our itinery, enroute to family in Hamshire. We had a wonderful welcome such a friendly atmosphere and the room was wonderful, the breakfast was lovely and we could'nt have asked for better. Will... more

Was not over impressed with the owner as she made an issue of telling us of her yearly jaunt to the Bahamas within two minutes of walking in the front door. We thought that it was an expensive place to stay but we wanted to be in a nice village near Heathrow Airport. Bedroom was comfortable but the shower was... more
