Stayed the night after a meal at The Hinds head in Bray. Good location and a great cooked breakfast. If your in room 4 you may have brush up on your climbing skills as its up a pretty steep set of stairs.

Very clean B & B with comfy beds. This is an historic pub and the room had lots of character & olde worlde charm. But it was cramped. There was no wardrobe and limited floor space: we had a twin ( Room 3?) The bathroom was very narrow but there was plenty of hot water: there was no bath, which... More

Great bar, great rooms and great breakfasts. i stayed here with a friend for one night and had a really nice evening. It has a fabulous location being close to the main high street. The owner Jo and his partner are charming company. I highly recommend it and will be going back. Darren

Me and hubby stayed for 2 nights. 2 minutes walk into centre of town. A friendly, traditional pub, with just 4 rooms. Clean, charismatic rooms, with all you need for an overnight stay. Bar staff friendly especially the chef, a really nice bloke who offered to cook a meal for us even after his shift ended. The best breakfast you... More

I booked all 4 of the rooms here for a group of friends who had been invited to my 50th birthday. From the very first phone call I received helpful and courteous attention. My guests were full of praise for The Row Barge Inn and thoroughly enjoyed their overnight stay, special mention for the cooked breakfasts!!! I wouldn't hesitate to... More

Having had a bad experience trying to book the Hotel du Vin in Henley, we found the Row Barge friendly and welcoming. It's very down to earth, straightforward and comfortable, and basically a traditional English pub with rooms. Our room was big and other than being a bit cold, it was nice. We had a great dinner in the bar,... More

Excellent situation/location. A really old [3-400 years!] inn with 'all mod cons' A little difficult to find - but it's almost in the centre of town! The stairs are a challenge [especially for a six footer!] but, if you remember to duck your head [or wear a crash helmet!] you'll survive! The service was excellent, breakfast a real English one... I've had the pleasure of staying at the Row Barge on several occasions and always been very happy. You do, of course have to remember that this is a "pub with rooms" and not a swanky hotel, but it's all the better for it. The rooms are all nicely furnished and comfortable, there's free WiFi and just about everything you... More

My wife and I stayed here while attending a wedding. Many of the other guests had booked into the likes of Hotel du Vin, however we were on a shoestring budget and had resigned ourselves to finding a simple spot just to crash for the night; we were not expecting luxury. When we arrived, the landlady was friendly and helpful.... More
