What a lovely hotel. We had a great time at the Old Parsonage Hotel, it was within walking distance of the city so we didnt have to drive. The staff were happy and helpful we were always met with a smile and a hello. The rooms were bright and clean, very comfortable. The restaurant food was tasty with great service.... more

I usually enjoy taking lunch in the courtyard of this hotel. However today I experienced some very bad service. My wife asked for the new item on the menu, an asparagus salad at £7.95! When it came it comprised no more that 2 sticks of asparagus-cut into pieces, a small amoutn of rocket, a few peas and few beans--the volume... more

Charming, olde English hotel. The room was rather tiny, but we were only going to sleep in it so that didn't matter, nor the fact that it overlooked the car park. (I could keep an eye on my car so that was good!) Food was good, decor comfortable and classy and it's location was absolutely ideal. I would stay again. more

The Old Parsonage Hotel provided a nice, quite, and friendly place to stay, with a fantastic location in Oxford. The rooms were always clean and perfect for our week long stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and always more than happy to suggest fun and interesting things to do in and around Oxford. Definitely the place to stay... more

My husband and I decided on a whim to get out of the city for the weekend. We made the reasonably easy 1 hour drive to Oxford and booked last minute to stay at the Old Parsonage. At the last minute price deal, we were very pleased to find a delightful little really first rate hotel, centrally located, but just... more

I booked into the Old Parsonage only because The Old Bank was full. The only room available was a junior suite at the costly sum of STG295.00 per night. This hotel is a classic hotel that offers a magnificent 1660 building as its entrance and lobby with a rather less magnificent addition on the back that houses most of the... more

I mistakenly submitted my review to the separate site for the Old Parsonage Bar & Restaurant here on Trip Advisor... but to repeat what I said there: this is a very charming and quaint country inn, although in my view quite expensive, with no continental breakfast included. The rooms were very comfortable, staff very accommodating, very convenient location. We would... more

We booked a three night getaway at the Old Parsonage thinking it would be a lovely getaway to Oxford. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very frustrating and expensive. We checked into our room which was on the ground floor, and faced directly onto the car parking. There was a massive car blocking out entire "balcony" (if you can call... more

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a sixteenth-century former parsonage situated in very central Oxford. It is located in a quiet niche neighbourhood among many University buildings, with the renowned Parish Church of St Giles next door. We are pleased to offer the same decor, products and facilities in all of our rooms, but due to the age and nature of...

We booked a room mid week for one night at the Old Parsonage and had an incredible stay. I upgraded to the Deluxe room which was in the old part of the building, so it had all the old-style charm Oxford is famous for. The room itself was very large and beautifully decorated, much more like a country manor bedroom... more

I accompanied a cousin to Oxford and stayed with her at the hotel that was booked by her business interests--Old Parsonage. The room was lovely with all the amenities. The staff at the front desk was most helpful whenever approached with a question. I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk anywhere in... more
