I was very fortunate to be able to book through the hotel website a room for myself at this classy place at a special rate (c. 25% off the regualr price) which included breakfast . A very pleasant experience indeed. Clearly the hotel’s location is its biggest attraction, augmented by its stunning views over the colleges. If anything I think the hotel’s website underplays these points, particularly the views which are surely some of the best and iconic urban views in the world. Get a room with a view if you can! The Old Bank Hotel is in a superb location which they thoroughly exploit. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. However, at £200 per night this is shocking value .
