Tilbury lodge was the most amazing b&b experience I've ever had after several trips using b&bs in both England and Ireland. The rooms were expansive, the bathrooms huge, the breakfast was just amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and informative. Every little detail was attended to at a level I've never before experienced. The buses worked fine, although... more

My wife, 2 teenage sons & I stayed 3 nights here. It was the best B&B experience. Stefan was an excellent host. English breakfast was sumptuous. The location is ideal for exploring Cotswolds. We hired a car and made day trips to Snowhill, Broadway, Burford, Bourton-on-the-water & Chippen Campden. The roast beef at Badgers Hall Restaurant in Chippen Campden was... more

I was visiting oxford for 2 day training and luckily this guest house was listed by the training centre. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived, my room was clean and quiet, my bed very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the roll type bath a real luxury. I was able to leave my car at the house and... more

What a fabulous guest house. The hosts Melanie and Stefan are so accommodating and friendly. We stayed for only one night on our visit to Oxford. The location is excellent, a recommended bus ride from the centre of Oxford but we preferred to walk, around 25 mins. As for the guest house, what fantastic little extras the hosts provide, wine,... more

I found my stay here fantastic! The personal services is great, the rooms are lovely, with all sorts of personal touches. Breakfast was really good too. The only down side is that it is a little way from the main tourist stuff in Oxford, but so worth it. more

This is a welcoming b&b in a quiet location - unusually so for Oxford, so if you like a bit of peace and quiet, away from main roads, then this is one for you. The room I stayed in was a large, comfortable, double, and was spotless. Breakfast is fine, there is good parking on site and this is defnitely... more

I think this is another "what more could you want" review. The positives are all listed elsewhere - mostly the attention to detail and the small things that let others down or just take the gloss off. I'm not sure we had the best of the rooms - the shower wasn't the best by any means - which is why... more

Boy, did we hit the jackpot with this wonderful B & B !! Travelled down from Scotland with our son who was starting at University and stayed two nights. Warm welcome from Alexa and very welcome tea on arrival. Also introduced to Jax and Russell (the dogs, real characters) Rooms were immaculate and very comfortable - everything (and more) provided.... more

I was so pleased to stay at this excellent B&B for 7 nights. The rooms were immensely comfortable, immaculate and spacious - the pillows/beds were very comfortable. Stefan, Melanie, Alexa and the team are passionate about hospitality - it is obvious in the attention to detail throughout every aspect of Tilbury Lodge. Homemade fudge, snacks, tea, coffee, quality bath products,... more
