Stayed in this gem of a place in summer this year. Tucked away in a quiet iffley village was a wonderful find by my office. Food is absolutely fabulous, staff is courteous an its not very far from the town centre. Would love to stay there again. more

We spent 3 nights at the Tree. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious but needed some refurbishment, which we understand is soon to happen. I recently stayed here for 3 nights and fell in love with the location straight away. The scenery round about is absolutely stunning and the walk along the canal is just beautiful. However i really feel that the Tree Hotel needs to make up it's mind whether it's a hotel, restaurant or bar as i really don't think it copes... more

The Tree is something else - no welcome on arrival and no acknowledgement when waiting to be served. It is basically a pub with accommodation above. It is a beautiful building but parts of it are very run down. The garden is lovely, and the location is fantastic, practically right beside Iffley lock.
