my wife and i stopped their recently and found the hotel so friendly and welcoming , the rooms were comfortable with the added bonus of the leisure facilities it was an ideal stop over for a long weekend. the only issue was the breakfast, one of the mornings we got down at 9.00 and found the cooked breakfast in short... An OK hotel but with a great location, right on the tow path by the boat houses with a a very pleasant short walk into the city. Breakfast was fine but tables very squashed together, room fine, nothing special, towel taken but not replaced, bath chipped, shower ran v hot then freezing cold. Free internet worked well. More

This hotel is about a mile outside the centre of Oxford but it is a lovely walk along the river to the town. Its location means the hotel has plenty of parking - something the more central hotels lack. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and adequately appointed. However, the bed was quite hard and I did... More

We have just come back from a two night stay here. We were given room 407 which is the room furthest away from the front desk on the second floor. Not really a problem for my husband and I as we are both young enough to cope but the lift was broken at the same time. Just FYI. The room... More

Very clean, lovely room, nice decor, fab views over the fields. Had an issue with the sofa bed for the children the first night, the hotel handled this impeccably and bought another bed in straight after it was mentioned to them. Food and service in the restaurant and bar was excellent. Went on the DBB deal and would highly recommend... More

Good size room and nice views. There is only one treatment room though so we were unable to book anything. If you want any treatments you need to book early. Bit of a push to say one treatment room makes this place a spa! Food was good and good value. Although I don’t think service is as good as it... More

I can't really put my finger on it but I like everything about this hotel. Courteous staff who seem genuinely interested in you as a guest. Nice ( if overly modern) bar area and bar food find. A nice big room well equipped and clean. A lovely walking route to Oxford along the river and a nice " local" pub... More

An excellent new year break with family party of 6, nothing was too much trouble. This is our third year we have taken the new year package and we will be returning next year. The rooms are comfortable and well equiped. The staff are very good, friendly without being over the top - nice touches like they always hold a... More

My wife and I have used this hotel for several years now when visiting Oxford. It is approx. 1 mile from Oxford center and you can leave the car and walk in or use the frequent bus service right at the entrance. Food is always good and I do like their breakfasts. Even when bust the cope very well with... More
