I don't mind saying I was worried about staying here when I read the reviews below - However, given that the negative reviews were over 18 months ago, I am glad I took the chance! I stayed in room 6 on the top floor and was my bag was carried all the way up for me by a helpful young... more

Hi The B&B was really nice to stay in for work, it was nice, friendly, quite and clean. Just what i wanted to come back to after a week in a new job , the parking was also great. It is not the most amazing B&B in the world but if you nice a comfortable which is reasonably priced in... more

A nice, old-fashioned B&B, convenient location for Headington and the hospitals. The owner is a star; very friendly and obliging guy. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with good internet access. more

The guest house is very closed to BMW mini factory which I visited in Oxford. I stayed in the guest houaysse for five days. The room is clean. I enjoyed the wireless broadband free of charge. The manager is very friendly. I will stay in again. more

We've stayed at this hotel three times and had no problems at all.On each occasion the rooms were fine(they were in the bungalow at the back)although on the last visit one room was quite hot.We found the lady in charge very helpful and the breakfasts were fine.We were never asked for money up front.Friends who came with us were also... more

The first and last time we ever stayed at this "guesthouse", although that is an insut to every other guesthouse we have ever stayed in. Upon arrival we were met by a surly scruffy person who could not find our booking at first, then he asked for payment for the room. The usual way is pay upon departure so we... more

I stayed here for one night before moving over to another guest house. I was first shown to a large room off the yard. It was a hot day - in the 80s -- but the floor was heated. I asked if it could be turned off, and was told it had been, but was still cooling off. The place... more

We stayed on a snowy weekend in March. It wasn't terrible but we did have some problems. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet seemed faulty, it made a noise for ages after it was flushed which was quite annoying for me when my sister used it in the night! There was only one small mirror. Also only one towel... more

Well I decided to give this place a 2nd chance after having stayed there only a few months back. The first time however was not as bad as the last time. I only booked it because of its location but I will definitely re-think this in future stays around Oxford. Reasons for it being poor are as follows: Phone booking:... more

As we had 4 people in our group, we were given a room in a building on the back of the property. It was a new room with a sliding patio door to the cute backyard. The ceiling had knotty pine as did the bathroom door. The only drawback was the tiny bathroom where we had to squeeze by the... more
