Visited The Fallowfields for a business seminar to be greeted by Anthony, the owner, and a glass of freshly pressed apple juice from the hotel's orchard! The issue of how our food is treated before it gets to our tables, is one that will only increase in importance, as, people like Hugh FW and Jamie Oliver, crusade about chickens, pigs and other livestock. Everyday, I see my animals being treated with respect and love by my staff and it just has to be...
I attended a seminar and the room layout and refreshments were great. Light and sunny and you really felt like you were in the countryside. The lunch was fantastic with all the fresh produce and meat from the Hotel's own garden and animals - very sustainable and fresh. more

The establishment is superb, not a big shed of a hotel but a unique location with good links to the local area. The food miles are measured in feet and yards with just about everthing grown or reared in the surrounding fields. Fallowfiels Hotel has a special feel about it the moment you turn into the driveway. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. My colleagues and I tried to find fault, but we found that very hard to do. Wholeheartedly recomend this little gem of a hotel. Enjoy the ample grounds and the passion of the menu because it's all interlinked into a unique experience created by the family who run the establishment. The location is an oasis from a busy life but I could also run my corporate functions if only it was within distance. more
