The hotel does not offer the sevices that it advertises. There is not a restaurant or bar. Breakfast is only a choice of cereal and a banana - most comfortably eaten kneeling on the floor resting on the bed. Walls are stained and carpets are sticky. For a budget option with almost no walk to all sights, this is pretty good. just got back from staying 3 nights in oxford at the victoria house hotel, the room was clean and modern with private facilities. the hotel is in a fantastic location opposite theatres, cinemas, and bella italia, and there is a fantastic chinese resteraunt down some steps just next door but one. didnt here any noise at all from the night... more
