On our trip we decided we wanted to see the "country" side of England. We ended up in Woodstock. After taking the bus from Oxford we arrived in this cosy small village of Woodstock, we went to the Tourist information and got really good service from the lady behind the counter. We got a twin bed room, i think it... more

We spent just one night at Blenheim Guest House, but we wish it could have been more! The rooms were spacious, lovely, and quiet. Modern bathrooms, a hearty breakfast, and a quiet location - what more can you ask for? The stairs are steep, but we navigated it easily with several suitcases. The third-floor bedroom suite was divine! We also... more

Right next to Blenheim Palace grounds. Uncomfortable double bed as rather lumpy. In fact, it was two singles pushed together. Needs a bit of redecorating. Bathroom fittings need some attention, eg sink plug would not seal. Very steep staircases especially difficult with suitcases. Room a bit chilly at night. Thin walls between rooms. Breakfast adequate. No offer to make more... more

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in Woodstock and this cute B&B. Two rooms could easily accomodate our family of four. Blenheim Palace has a special deal of an Annual Pass for a full fare pass... So, we used the annual pass for several visits during our stay... Blenheim Guesthouse is just outside the Woodstock gate of Blenheim Palace.... more

We stayed here for two nights with our 3 children. The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean, staff was very hospitable. Location is excellent - short walk to Blenheim Palace and convenient to touring the Cotswolds. Would definitey recommend it. more

This is a great little B&B right in the middle of everything. The beds are a little bit dated, but if you have a life then have some beer before you go to sleep then it wont matter. The staff are superb and personal. It doesnt break the bank and the meals are home cooked and again, reasonably priced. more

We stayed at The Blenheim for one night in December. I have mixed feelings about it. On the plus side the location is fantastic - really close to Blenheim Palace - the rooms are clean and functional, and the price is very reasonable. However, the decor is dated and a bit worn around the edges, and the bed was extremely... more

The Blenheim Tea Rooms is a favorite place of mine. It is tiny, quaint, inexpensive, and perfectly located at the side entrance to Blenheim Palace. The from the tea rooms, I recommend a private walk around the lake in the palace grounds before a good English breakfast. Mmmm. more

Stayed for three nights in March. The room was OK but the double bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress seemimg to go up in the middle. If you slept on either side of the bed you felt as though you were going to roll off the edge and if you slept in the middle it was like sleeping on a... more

This past July we were lucky to stay at this inn. We had a triple room for our three teenagers and a double for ourselves at a very reasonable rate. The location was perfect for walking around the town or going just a minute away to the gates of the Blenheim Palace. The furnishings are older but it was comfortable... more
