My husband and I were made to feel most welcome on arrival nothing was to much trouble Our ensuite shower was huge and beautifully decorated The bed was very comfy with good quality bedding .Breakfast was nicely presented with a good choice of cereals and pastries

We stayed 20th and 21st April 2013 for 2 nights in a ground floor room. Very pleasant stay. Breakfast was great, rooms fresh and clean, hosts friendly but not intrusively so. A little noisy on the first night with guests in room above stomping about. Lovely atmosphere and lots of character features throughout the property, we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, very relaxing and peaceful stay. The room was a very good size and the hotel had some very nice features. The restaurant was lovely with good views of the garden. There could have been a bit more variety in the breakfast menu.

It has been quite a bad experience. Rooms are EXTREMELY cold. I had to make a wall of pillows in front of the window in order to stop freezing air coming inside.
