The Kings Arms is truly a surprise find in Woodstock. A small hotel with all the elements you would expect from a much larger establishment. Extremely clean and well looked after and really manages to provide modern comfort and still maintain the old charms that permeate Woodstock generally. The staff were pleasant and helpful and very efficient. Breakfast was particularly... More

This is a small but very stylish 15 bedroom hotel less than 1 mile from Blenheim Palace. The staff are very friendly and helpful and seems as they are all happy to work there. We stayed in Room 10 which was very elegantly decorated as was all the hotel, stylish but not over the top. The bathrooms were modern with... More

I stayed recently at The Kings Arms for 2 nights. The hotel is charming & lovely, and the restaurant located on site is excellent! The rooms are modern and the whole place is well maintained to high standards. Would highly recommend it as its around the corner from Blenheim Palace and convenient for touring the sites around Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

We spent a Sunday night here and also ate in the Atrium restaurant, Our top floor room was spacious and well appointed and the shower room was excellent. We had booked into the restaurant for an evening meal and the menu offered a lot of choice and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. The breakfast was similarly good... More

We have just returned from a weekend at the Kings Arms Hotel in Woodstock to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. The staff were really helpful on the phone with my slightly complicated reservation of 6 rooms, different nights, keeping it a surprise for my Dad etc etc and that level of service continued right through our stay. I did panic... More

It's a lovely little hotel with a nice restaurant/bar, great staff, but the room itself is so small it was hard to give it an excellent rating. In the bathroom you can do everything you need from one stance. The bed is also a bit small (bad for taller people due to the footboard) and not terribly comfortable. All else... More

An old protected building the rooms in this hotel are clean and modern, the food in the resturant was first class. The atmosphere during the evenings was busy especially half price champagne night loud but not too noisy . My stay was excellent and Iuse this hotel during all my visits to this area

superb food as always, great service, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. reasonable prices...a great British hotel/restaurant at its best! Parking is NOT available though, so be prepared to search for a space on the street... It's a great central meeting point for our family (Oundle, Portsmouth, Rugby) and easy to get to :)

Brilliant food here - we weren't disappointed on our second visit. The pork belly with carrot purée was gorgeous, and the food is well-priced and plentiful. Service is good, food is great. Great place in a lovely village.

Took advantage of the fantastic value Winter Warmer offer, staying on a Saturday and enjoying dinner, bed and breakfast. LOVELY room (no. 12, Oliver) - comfortable, clean and stylish (NB shower only). Bar was busy and buzzy - enjoyed a glass of prosecco before moving through to the restaurant. Dinner was delicious - not restricted to a set menu but... More
