Although informed as being close to Reading it is actually bit far out. If you on business and need transportation to Reading central your best efforts would be to take a taxi. This hotel name says Reading but it's a 20 pound trip by taxi to get to Reading. The hotel itself is small, no lift (keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage) but very quiet and accommodating. This is a lovely smaller sized hotel, with friendly and accomodating staff. Dinner in the restaurant was generally good as was the breakfast. There was a healthy breakfast option, which could be taken away. A good idea, when I never have time to sit and eat in the morning. I'd certainly stay here again, the next time I'm in Newbury/Reading... more
