Staff were excellent, really made my stay at the hotel. Friendly, very helpful. Hotel itself under renovation outside which detracted slightly. Every effort made to compensate, so thank you. Food in bar was good with prompt service. Location perfect for City Centre.

Mercure George is an okay hotel with, i'd say, a bit lower-than-average mercure appointments. The hotel is small, does not have parking or a gym and internet access at 8 pounds per day, even in the lobby and restaurant areas.
