Very centrally located but out of date. First night ate in the restaurant, very attractively decorated but absolutely freezing so the staff kindly offered to bring in portable radiators. Meal ok but worse when I found a hair in the vegetables. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room small, large bathroom, looks like its been decorated recently. Very noisy though.... more

I have had the misfortune of staying at this hotel (not by choice) through work for four weeks most recently in January 2009. The facilities are very poor. The heating is rarely on even in the depths of winter. The fire alarm went off twice whilst I was there and the staff have no idea what to do - dangerous???... more

A maze of corridors with stained carpets that hasn't seen the decorators in a couple of decades. Room was either freezing or stifling depending on whether the unturnoffable radiator was broken or not. Food in the 'restaurant' abysmal. And the smell! Oh, the smell ... more
