We booked this hotel on the discounted offer of £39 per room as a suprise for my fathers birthday with his family, 6 adults and a 4 year old child. The hotel fitted the bill perfectly for what we needed. We arrived on the Sat afternoon after a visit to Henley on Thames (Beautiful place!) on a scorching day. We... more

WE went for a one night stay for a ball. The staff were rude, the literally laughed and mocked us to our faces when buying drinks. The drinks are increadably overpriced, i have stayed in pricey places before but this place bites the sodding biscuit. The room was nice enough. The food was far from delicious. I will never go... more

I have just returned from a weekend at Wokefield Park which I had been looking forward to for a few months. I have stayed in all sorts of places all over the world and I am sad to say that apart from a little family run place in Ilfracombe in Devon, Wokefield Park is the worst hotel I have ever... more

After booking a 2 night £39.00 per night deal before reading the reviews, I thought oh no, have I made a bit mistake? The answer was a clear NO! When we arrived just before 2pm, our room was not ready and still ws not until around 3pm. No problem, we had some lunch in the bar area and then sat... more

Well we managed to bag a room at this place during the special £10 sale...and we are so glad we paid no more! If they gave us our room for free we still wouldn’t have gone! 4* start, what a joke! On arrival the lady who checked us into the hotel was incredibly grumpy and cold and certainly couldn’t spare... more

Bargain Easter weekend break, £39 & £19 a night. Take a Sat Nav as it is awkward to find down narrow country lanes with only a few very late sign posts. Our bedroom was large, modern and clean and the bathroom too (with a great shower). It was situated in the executive centre handy for the swimming pool, bar, restaurant... more

We stayed here for my birthday in March and the hotel is set in lovely grounds. It was a little difficult to find though even with a sat nav. The hotel is spread over two buildings we stayed in the modern part of the hotel which seemed to be dominated by BMW who have a training facilty there. Our room... more

I booked a spa deal for my sisters hen night with this hotel after being told we could have access to their spa pool, sauna etc. The hotel is set in lovely grounds however when we arrived we were told the rooms we had booked and prepaid for were now not available and we had to share doubles. When we... more

1 Apr 2009 | Trip type: Business

We stage seminars around the country as part of our business, inviting exhibitors and delegates to partake of an event where they arrive the evening before with one night's accommodation. Although booked months in advance, on turning up for the corporate golf, the room we had booked and paid for in advance, was not available and the bacon and coffee... more
