Rooms were ok, bed linen and main room were clean, the bathroom had the body hair from a previous occupant which is never nice. Kettle was absolutely full of limescale. . poor choice of food if you are vegetarian. £ 75.00 for a room per night ..my advice is to go to laterooms and book the Great House at Sonning... more

All my gripes surround the restaurant. On my first night he barmaid and chef had an argument right in front of me because she put my food order through but he decided it was too much hassle to turn the oven back on. This was a full 20 minutes before the kitchen closed! not a great start. Next morning the... more

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, it was ok dispite some of the previous reviews, the rooms where very basic but clean and had great facilities such as hair dryer, tea and coffee etc. The staff in the pub are very friendly and polite overall an ok stay for 1 night. more

This was one of the nastiest hotel experiences we have ever had due to a terrible manager who was rude, intimidating and inefficient. We were over-charged for 3 rooms that we had cancelled and did not use. Mgmt insisted we paid. We did not pay and they subsequently charged our credit cards. The breakfast was terrible and not enough for... more

Probably the worse hotel I have stayed in for many years. Yes it is cheap but even then expensive for what you get. Rooms need a major upgrade. Staff shrug their shoulders and just seem to imply its more than their jobs worth to do more than the minimum - actually they are fine - it is the place just... more

A member of bar staff at this pub cloned my card in order to carry out fraudulent card transactions. Don't go to this pub. AVOID at all costs. more

Arrived at Wee Waif Hotel to find they had made up a double room instead of a twin room, as the staff seemed very new they did not know where to find the relevant bedding to make up the room to a twin. After lots of reminders this was done eventually. The room was very noisy as it overlooked a... more

Well, I thought this place was pretty good. £39 for a double room (2 of us in a family room) with breakfast included. It must have had a bit of a facelift judging by some of the other comments. Plenty of complimentary tea/coffee and the room (no. 8) was smartly decorated with an over bath shower, hot towel rail ,... more

Standard of room good and value for money but the bar staff were ignorant and unhelpful, and the quality and presentation of the breakfast food was very poor. The service at breakfast, however, was truly appalling. My family had to wait for an hour to be served and at no time did the staff show any interest or a sense... more

We needed to stay near friends in Woodley and would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to do the same and looking for value. This isn't a "nice" hotel by most standards but it is clean, the staff are friendly, the food is decent, the pub is relaxing, etc . . . Our local friend booked the first two nights... more
