We booked the room on the internet at an amazing £75 for the night. Arrived at 3.15 and expected to have to wait for check in at 6pm due to pub opening hours but kind staff opened up and allowed us to check in...a real plus as we were tired and wet as our mode of transport was cycles! Room... more

This is true hidden gem - we cannot recommend it highly enough, Huge room with our own terrace and private garden, STUNNING cooking in the restaruant and friendly service. And very romatic! A lovely hotel and accommodation was great. Extremely well-appointed rooms, very comfortable. Lovely dining room with great breakfast available. Rooms opened out onto quiet garden courtyard. Staff accommodating- problem with our internet booking (given two doubles instead of 1 double & one twin share) was soon sorted out! This hotel was a good alternative to staying in London. more
