An unremarkable stay at a budget hotel chain delivering exactly what you'd expect. No frills but clean, quiet, inexpensive and central. Internet is chargeable and via LAN cable. Very near to the railway station and essentially in the town centre. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

I stop away a lot and needed a Reading hotel near the station. I picked the Ibis based on TripAdvisor reviews. I got it right. A warm welcome, a comfy modern and clean room, good breakfast and five minutes from both the station and a choice of restaurants. I'll stop here on future visits
