Not sure how prices are in Sheffield, I had better deals for 30 pound in other places. Still, a cheap place, not bad but not without drawbacks. Date: Saturday, 7th February, 2009 Booked online and then checked details by telephoning: twice. Friendly and initially, very informative but, on reflection, very economical with the facts. The website promised a nice, friendly little B&B that looked like it was done up to look nice and modern, with simple furniture. I was going to Sheffield to see a theatre show. The Crown Inn's location seemed nicer and more central than the usual chains. It was cheap too, and although it made me suspicious, the girl seemed helpful... more
