Found this pub when searching for a country pub near Sheffield. It looks quite big from the outside with ample free parking and big patio area, but inside it is very cosy with two open fires. We spent the day shopping round Sheffield then arrived at the pub about 4pm. Check in was fine and we went up to our... More

Booked this hotel about a month in advance and gave a card number to confirm. The hotel then phoned us 4 days before our arrival date and told us that there was a double booking and that they would book us into another hotel. The tone was indifferent and when we asked the price of the other hotel, the employee... More

Fantastic views looking over the country side. Shame it was let down by poor service from certain members of staff. Room was an average. Cleanliness of the bathroom was terrible. Not a good start when you have to get the it cleaned before you unpack. Bar area wasn't much better glasses where dirty. The food was shocking I was very... More

A day trip to Sheffield ended up being a last minute overnight stay and we booked our impromptu stay at this hotel using the booking.com app on our phone. On arrival at the hotel we were met by a helpful and friendly team of staff who couldn't do enough for us. From the minute we walked into the bar/reception we... More

My wife and I have stayed a number of times at this lovely hotel in the village of Ringinglow on the edge of the Peak District - for the price, it is hard to beat. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and furnished with good bathrooms and excellent views of the surrounding countryside. They are above the pub part... More

This was an overnight stay after a day walking in the Peak District and we couldn't have asked for more helpful staff or more comfortable rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff and both rooms we had booked were spacious. The views from our rooms (9 and 10) were lovely and, at £50 per night including breakfast,... More

Stayed for a couple of nights in October in a mid week deal that they offer if you book direct with the hotel. Great value for money with friendly staff from checking in until booking out. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms and comfortable bed with decent flat screen television. We ate at the hotel both nights and to be fair... More

I think it's clear from the other reviews of the Nofolk Arms that the hotel side of the business should be judged separately from the food! We stayed for two nights having got a very good last minute deal from Late Rooms and feel we got very good value for money - the room was light and very nicely decorated,... More

I stayed here for two nights while on business locally, check in was simple & painless with the receptionist able to advise on good running routes via Long Line which I thoroughly enjoyed the following morning. The room was well kept & spacious with nice character from the leaded Crittall windows, although the road was busy at peak times I... More
