Stayed one nite, room was beautiful with a glass floor. Owner really friendly. Very central. Had a great stay. Breakfast was lovely. Very lively at nite as we stayed on a sat nite. If you want am early nite it's not the place 2 be.

the rooms ok, nothing to get excited about, old world locks on room doors, just a hand shower in bath which leaked. Beer ok, Breakfast great, good english breakfast. only one night stay at begining of week so it was quiet.appeared to be one other couple staying in hotel at time of visit

Stayed at the Swan Hotel with friends for one night on 09/03/13. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Staff were friendly, especially Andy McGregor who went out of his way to accommodate our requests, the food was lovely in particular the cooked breakfast which was more than enough to keep you going till lunch.

They have rooms down the road which are OK, but nothing to write home about. I didn't get the feeling that they cared about their residents. I cannot offer a view about breakfast, I had to leave before they stated serving. The beer in the put is OK but nothing great.
