A truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The owners, Lizzie and Rob make every effort to make you feel at home. Organising dinner reservations, free parking passes, homemade cake on arrival and lovely breakfasts. This level of service should be the bench mark set to which other B&Bs and hotels should aspire to. A credit to their profession. I'm... more

I always take into account previous Trip Advisor reports and they were very true of this accomodation. The greeting was so friendly and Liz was immediately out to guide our driver to the parking and supply a local parking pass. We had the two biggest rooms and they were superb. Clean, cosy and so well furnished and maintained. Every time... more

This was our second visit to the Library House - this time we took friends - and it was just as good as last year. Possibly we liked the Milton Room even better then the Elliot. Hard to criticism so I won't. more

Stayed for 2 nights in the Eliot room. Lovely room with large comfortable bed and robes in the bathroom, usually only found in hotels. A house with some history which is always more interesting than a soul-less "could be anywhere" hotel. We were greeted by Liz and Fizz who is a lovely friendly terrier who has her own page on... more

Best B&B we stayed in during our recent trip. Beautifully decorated facility with fabulous food. The owner is very welcoming and hospitable. Parking is awkward, but staying in this first-class property is worth the short walk. Try the salmon and scrambled egg breakfast. Yum! more

Library House offers comfort, professionalism, and affordability in it's wonderfully located 3-room B&B in Ironbridge. We stayed here 2 years ago for one night, and were so impressed we worked it into our itinerary to return this time for a 3-night stay. The welcome is personal, helpful, and friendly; the sitting room inviting and comfortable; our room tastefully decorated, inviting,... more

We stopped here for 3 nights in the Chaucer room. Room was beautiful, clean and had a fantastic roof terrace, the en-suite bathroom was spacious and even had towelling robes provided. Hosts made us feel very welcome, providing us with a complementary glass of wine and peanuts which we had on the terrace with our picnic. The guesthouse is in... more

My partner and I stayed at Library House in February 2009. For various reasons its taken me a while to write this review but I was determined to do so! Our one night stay at Library House was perfect! From Lizzie's warm welcome including homemade cake (wow!) and complimentary drink - to the stunning bedrooms we wanted for nothing more.... more

We booked this Guest House following a review in Holiday Which and it certainly came up to expectation. Our two night stay in Chaucer room was very comfortable and the warm welcome we received (tea and cake in the lounge) plus the excellent breakfast provided by Lizzie, the owner, set us up for a very enjoyable stay, despite the weather.... more
