We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August 2009. It was very clean and the staff were friendly but the whole place is in need of some updating. I visited this spotlessly clean hotel with my mother on July 14th 2009. We found a very well organised place run by friendly and helpfull staff. The room was comfortable, and the food very good. Traditional but not boring. We would recommend this hotel. more

We enjoyed our stay at the Cliff Hotel. It was approx 5 min walk into town, that is strolling. The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were basic but fine. Do take home some local sausages, they are very tastey. Try the Church pub too, good food, great beer !! We had a lovely weekend here. Garfiod more

We spent a very pleasant Easter in this charming, small, friendly, home from home hotel. Very nice people, friendly & helpful. The food was excellent with good selection for a small place. I had a very warm welcome at this small hotel. My room was comfortable and recently decorated, modern TV, good bar. The breakfast of lightly cooked scrambled eggs was cooked to perfection. Although a little distance from the town centre, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ludlow more

Having just returned from a lovely weekend at the Cliffe Hotel I did not recognize it from the previous reviewer's comments. We found it most pleasant; our room was large and comfortable with lovely views and a spacious bathroom.
