Have just spent 2 nights with Sarah and her lovely family in a very spacious, comfy, spotless and welcoming B&B . Breakfast served around the family table as the children got ready for school . We stayed for my 55th birthday weekend. Ferndell was everything we wanted, quiet, friendly, short walk to town (10 mins if that), easy to find, parking on road outside. Lovely big Victorian house, huge rooms, very well done up, very comfortable. Sarah and Stuart made us feel so welcome, great breakfast, Aga porridge and full English, and home made chocolate... more

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Ferndell, where you will be made to feel part of this lovely family. Rooms are comfortable in this great house, Perfect location too - just 10 mins from the heart of Shrewsbury but with good pub and places to eat even closer. Well worth a visit and we hope to return more

This is a wonderful old house with a surprise, it still has the old servants stairs up to the attic, although these are not used for the guests... You are made so welcome and feel part of the family. The house is only a short walk from the railway station and the centre of town. Shrewsbury is a great stopping... more
